Shin Woun Chemical Co., Ltd. established in 1987 is a manufacturer and trader of lubricants, fire retardant sand plastic stabilizers.
Our main products are Zinc Stearate (ZN-ST) and Ethylene Bis Stearamide (E.B.S). These are used as plastics lubricants or paints. Magnesium Hydroxide is used as a flame retardant for plastics and PVC.
One of our main products, Zinc Stearate, has good heat stability and resin affinity compared with other competitors. Our other main product, E.B.S, also has good heat stability and high lubrications. Magnesium Hydroxide, one of our main products, has good flame retardant effects on PP, EVA, etc. We also produce two types of PVC stabilizers, liquid-type and powder-complex-type, that have good stabilities for PVC.
Our company has continued R&D to improve the quality of our products. In 2002, our company received an export tower award for three million dollars of exports.
Annual production capacity is as follows: Zinc Stearate(HI-FLOW) 7,500M/T, E.B.S(HI-LUBE) 15,000 M/T and Magnesium Hydroxide(FLAMDANT) 2,000 M/T, PVC stabilizer(HI-STAB) 10,000 M/T.
Our company is located in Shihwa Industrial Complex in Siheung City. Total revenue is around USD13.5 million and about USD4.5 million came from exports in 2002. We employ more than 44 employees, including 5 high-skilled engineers and researchers and 2 QA staff.
